We recently had the blessing of knitting at Iris Hill Farm. Twenty two Lowlander Locals sitting and knitting.
It was a great day out, our gracious host Merry Schepers hosted this event on her farm up in Seymour, Mo. Her farm dog Gillie had given birth to five beautiful collies and we got to spend the day knitting on the porch with them.
I am not sure how much knitting we actually got done as the puppies were fun, playful and just wee balls of fur..cuddling was more on the agenda than knitting
Everyone brought a dish for a potluck lunch and Merry whipped together some yummy pork meatballs, after all she is the best Pig Farmer around.
We ate, knit, had fun with the puppies and took a tour of the farm.
Iris Hill Farm sits in the middle of Amish country, so the added bonus was watching the Amish buggies go by, what a delight to be able to just have such a wonderful, relaxing and tranquil day
